Today's Metro Momento

New Year's Resolutions are a waste of time

Another thin issue of Metro today for the people who are back after New Year for a day to then be off work again for the weekend. This sucks and I don't know why offices just don't close today. I have not received one work related email or telephone call since Xmas Eve and the New Year.

Anyway like me, Metro say there's little point making New Year's Resolutions:

Forget New Year's Resolutions - they're a waste of time. They encourage you to focus on what's wrong in your life, make you do things you don't want to, and inevitably end in failure.

So instead Metro give you loads of ideas to indulge yourself in the New Year with lists of best places to go for fry-ups in London, Best bars for Happy Hours, Best restaurants for boozy lunches and Best places for Killer Cocktails. If they added best places to get Cuban cigars or best bars for smoking the anti New Year Resolution list would have been complete.

Metro totally rock this week and have kept me going when travelling in on the deserted morning tubes.
