It's raining, it's pouring

The wrong kind of rain?

Doing work and college stuff on Saturday and ended up travelling around Bloomsbury and Angel and Kings Cross a lot. When leaving Angel to get back to Bloomsbury I found that King's Cross station (which I had used only a couple of hours earlier as an interchange) had been closed due to "flooding". Now admittedly I was ensconced in a college library for a while, then in shops, then in a coffee shop, but I don't remember enough torrential rain falling in those few hours to close down the station. Unless the flooding was due to somebody leaving the tap on in a filled sink, after filling up a kettle. Very puzzled.
