Tami on National UK TV

Tami on GMTV breakfast

Well she was on a bit later than we expected, but at 7.10am, our brave "stranded" tubecop
New Orleans Police Captain Tami Brisset was filmed live from Gatwick, as she prepares to make her way back to the US. Tami, wearing her Tube Relief T-Shirt (and namechecking Neil Blake and Geoff Marshall for organising the London Underground challenge) spoke to the presenter about how she has felt helpless in the UK since hearing about the devastation in her hometown which was hit by Hurricane Katrina.

Jenni Hardi who was with Tami while she was being interviewed took some pictures of the preparation and the filming (the rest are in the flickr tube relief photo pool):

UPDATE - Tami's story is now on the BBC Website too
